Jaineel Mistry

There was a time he chased success the way most people do.

In his mid-twenties, Jaineel qualified as a pharmacist and landed a role in strategy consulting. He found himself looking out at the gloomy London skyline from his desk and, while his mind said he had “made it,” his heart felt a lack of fulfilment. For the first time in his life, he felt trapped, as if he had jail bars across his chest.

He wondered why, despite coming through the academic education system, he felt deeply uneducated about life and how to live and lead well. This sparked a journey of seeking answers.

He read hundreds of books, attended workshops across the world, and became a student of personal growth, psychology, leadership, Eastern philosophy, and more. He began to question why so much of what he was learning was not being practised around him.

So he set things in motion and created a blog called Thriving Scholar. He had seen that those who truly thrive in life are scholars of life and, more importantly, scholars of themselves.

Thriving Scholar began as a blog. Over the years, it has grown into a company on a mission to help modern leaders awaken, thrive in life, and lead powerfully in the areas that matter most.

Since 2018, Jaineel has coached and trained more than 500 leaders — from KPMG executives to government officials and Dragons’ Den-winning founders — guiding them to release mental blocks, consciously create their lives, and lead at elite levels.

He brings over 12 years of leadership experience from the life sciences consulting industry and is currently writing his first book, Lead From Within. Jaineel is based in London, UK, and continues to serve leaders and organisations globally.
