3 Reminders to Transform From Overwhelm to Clarity
Jaineel Mistry
Some weeks, I find myself in flow – things unfold with ease, the right conversations happen at the right time, and I feel deeply grounded in my vision.
Other weeks, I catch myself chasing.
Pushing. Forcing. Trying to make things happen.
This week was one of those weeks.
I was moving fast, overthinking, and feeling like I was hitting a wall – mentally and physically. And every time I’ve felt like this, I’ve learned that the answer isn’t more effort. The answer is a shift in being.
So, I paused. I reflected. And I reminded myself of three things that always bring me back to center.
1. The Game of Life vs. Living
One of the greatest distinctions that changed my life: Everything outside of my well-being is just a game I’ve chosen to play.
My business, my projects, my career goals – all of it part of my chosen game.
And just like in any game, there are levels. There’s always another goal. Always more to achieve. Always another move to make.
But what happens when the game starts consuming you?
What happens when your mind is chaotic, your body is drained, and you’re so caught up in winning that you forget that in order to play the game, you as a player, needs to be fit enough to be on the court to play.
I had to remind myself:
I can only play the game well when I am living well.
A tennis player doesn’t win championships by burning out so much that they get injured.. They win by training, recovering, and ensuring they are at their physical and mental peak.
It’s the same in life.
I can only perform at my highest level when my mind is clear, my body is strong, and my energy is steady.
The takeaway?
✔️ Prioritize living well first (mind, body, soul connection). Your work, goals, and ambitions will thrive when you’re plugged in.
✔️ Check in with yourself. Are you prioritizing the game over your living?
✔️ Remember: A calm, clear mind is your greatest advantage.
Practical Exercise:
For the next 24 hours, pause three times a day and ask yourself:
Am I playing the game, or am I present in my life right now?
If you’re too caught in the game, take a deep breath, slow down, and reconnect with the present moment.

2. Go Higher, Not Faster
This week, I noticed myself rushing.
I was moving fast, jumping from one task to another, trying to force momentum. But I’ve learned something over the years: The fastest way to progress isn’t speed. It’s depth.
When you operate in rush mode, you’re in low consciousness. Your mind is reactive, scattered, and unable to access the greater intelligence that flows through you.
Think about the world’s greatest thinkers, leaders, and spiritual teachers.
They don’t rush.
They move with grace, ease, and deep presence.
When I realized I was chasing speed, I made a shift.
I slowed down my mind.
Instead of rushing into the next thing, I took 15 minutes to just sit, breathe, and reflect. No phone. No distractions. Just stillness.
And in that stillness?
Slowing down isn’t inaction. It’s accessing a higher level of intelligence, creativity, and power.
The takeaway?
✔️ Speed is an illusion. Depth, clarity, and alignment move you forward faster than force ever will.
✔️ Create space for stillness. The most powerful insights when you access a higher state, that can’t be achieved with rushing.
✔️ Stop forcing. Start receiving. Answers come when you make space for them.
Slow down and you unlock a level to be at a higher level of consciousness.. Start to rush, and you end up going lower.
Practical Exercise:
At any point today, when you feel yourself rushing, stop and take 60 seconds to:
Then ask yourself:
What would my highest self do next?
Watch how clearer, smarter decisions emerge from that place.
3. Stop Chasing. Start Attracting
There’s an old saying:
“If you chase butterflies, they will fly away. But if you build a beautiful garden, the butterflies will come to you.”
I caught myself chasing this week.
Chasing results. Chasing opportunities. Chasing progress.
And every time I’ve done this, I’ve learned the same lesson. The more you chase, the more things run away.
Why?
Because chasing comes from lack.
From fear.
From a place of “I need this to feel complete.”
But when you shift from chasing to attracting, everything changes.
This well I had to dial in on my Energetic Calibration.
Each morning and evening, I take a few minutes to:
✔️ See myself as already whole, complete, and successful
✔️ Feel the emotions of having what I desire – right now
✔️ Move through the day with the energy of someone who already has it
And every time I do this, I notice:
✔️ The right people show up
✔️ The right opportunities arise
✔️ Things flow toward me instead of me chasing them
(Obviously this week there wasn’t much of that – lol)
The takeaway?
✔️ Stop chasing. Become the person you’d be in the having of it – now.
✔️ Stop seeking external validation. Cultivate your energy first
✔️ Shift from forcing to allowing – and watch what happens
Practical Exercise:
Every morning, close your eyes and imagine yourself already having what you want.
Ask yourself:
How does my future self feel? How does he/she move? How does he/she speak?
Then… BE that version of you today.
Because success doesn’t come to the one who chases it.
It comes to the one who is already living it.
Final Thought: The Power of Returning to Yourself
This week, I caught myself in the cycle of pushing, chasing, and rushing.
And these three reminders brought me back to my own power:
So, as you go through your week, ask yourself:
Where am I pushing too hard instead of allowing things to flow?
Where am I moving too fast instead of going deeper?
Where am I chasing instead of attracting?
The answers to these questions might just shift everything for you.
Let me know – which of these three reminders resonated most with you?
Here’s to slowing down, stepping into alignment, and playing the game from a place of power.
